Description
The part-time positions vary from 13 hours per week to 26 hours per week and are scheduled according to the various program's format. Most programs are scheduled either Mondays and Wednesdays, or Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The successful candidates will have the ability to work and play with our junior kindergarten children to celebrate day to day achievements while keeping Individual Learning Plan goals in mind. The ability to foster a safe and caring learning environment is essential for our youngest students. The establishment of a good working relationship with parents and community is also critical. A strong background and expertise in working with students with a wide range of physical, cognitive, social and emotional differences, as well as personal assistance in toileting may be required. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience working with children who have Autism and an Educational Assistant Certificate.
