Frank Spragins is an outreach high school, we offer both on-campus and off-campus programming. This role will provide academic support and guidance for our off-campus students.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Education

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

Experience with outreach education.

Experience within Student Service / Academic Support.

Experience with Jr. and Sr. high an Asset.

An ability to tailor an individualized curriculum along an outcomes-based/outcomes-developed continuum.

An ability to develop, implement and monitor IPPs for students with mild-moderate developmental disabilities that provides sequential learning and opportunities to integrate with same-age peers in different grades.

Other goals for students include increasing independence, enhancing self-esteem and improving social/interpersonal skills.

Effective organizational skills and classroom management - Supervision and planning for Educational Assistants.

An ability and commitment to work as a member of a team in a collaborative work environment.

An ability to establish productive relationships with staff and parents.

A commitment to the Assessment for Learning model.

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is an asset.
