The salary range for this position is CAD $38.12 - $54.80 / hour
Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Client Partner to join our OH&S Systems and Services team. This role is pivotal in supporting provincial Psychological Health and Safety (PHS) programs, mirroring the support provided to Occupational Health and Safety programs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Strategy and Oversight Committee, PHS Services at PHSA, various health organizations, and the Ministry of Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Provincial Measurement and Monitoring: Oversee the implementation of the Standard within existing and emerging practices, ensuring alignment with related provincial projects.
  • Coordinate Shared Resources: Facilitate the efficient use of shared resources across various health organizations.
  • Research and Quality Improvement (QI) Support: Provide expertise and assistance in research initiatives and quality improvement projects.
  • Centralized Repository Management: Maintain and support a centralized repository of PHS practices and resources focused on health and wellbeing.
  • Business and Data Analysis: Assist health organizations with business analysis, data analysis, change management, and implementation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Occupational Health and Safety or Psychological Health and Safety programs.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Detailed Overview

Support the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:

Reporting to a Leader, within the People Health, Well-being and Safety portfolio, the Client Partner, OH&S Systems and Services is responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of new and existing local or provincial OH&S systems, such as; Physician Services integration, Core Health Applications, or new OH&S technology platforms. This position will play a key role in modernizing the delivery of OH&S systems by optimizing service delivery and access models.  The Client Partner, OH&S Systems and Services requires familiarity with the WHITE.net incident reporting databases and WSBC incident reporting requirements, Occupational Health and immunization reporting and British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) exposure management protocols, and other relevant OH&S systems and regulations as well as capability for Lean design thinking and the ability to evaluate, configure and implement technology based solutions.    


Responsibilities


  1. Designs, develops and recommends, new and innovative technical models for OH&S service delivery in collaboration with key stakeholders to optimize the access and delivery models.
  2. Analyzes existing systems and processes and makes recommendations to optimize the integration of the physician population into the provincial OH&S service delivery models.
  3. Creates evaluation framework for new business workflows and establishes operational metrics and KPIs for evaluation of services.
  4. Prepares operational and other statistical and related reports to assess and monitor operational processes, systems and computer applications.
  5. Creates regular systems & process review schedule to ensure service delivery model and tools are modernized.
  6. Maintains knowledge on current technology solutions (WHITE.net , Core Health, WebIIT, SafetyTask, Sharepoint and other similar applications) available for ongoing improvements to service delivery.
  7. Coordinates and participates in project teams for the development of new processes and systems/tools to enhance OH&S services delivery. 
  8. Provides leadership to external project team members as required by; conveying policies and priorities; coordinating work and ensuring issues are resolved or escalated to ensure project deliverables and timelines are met.
  9. Meets with stakeholders to facilitate consensus, consultation and the sharing of information; liaises with consultants, vendors, other health care entities and other external agencies.
  10. Keeps current on the interpretation and application of relevant articles in the collective agreements, human rights legislation, WSBC regulations and applicable other external regulations, provincial standards, practices and protocols.
  11. Represents the department on selected internal and external technical committees, as required, and provides status reports to the Leader, People Health, Well-being and Safety.
  12. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Health Information Management or a related field supplemented with course work in Occupational Health & Safety, plus a minimum of five (5) years' recent, related experience that involves data/systems analysis and process improvement/LEAN design or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
