***This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Oshawa Elevation Centre, three times per week at minimum.***
Are you interested in the exciting world of Fleet and Commercial Sales and Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles? If so then this position is for you. Come join the GM Envolve team and experience the exciting world of Fleet and Commercial Sales. This position will have a specific emphasis on Rental and Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of initiatives including administering and guiding GM Canada’s Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles and Remarketing efforts. In addition, the individual will also assist with supporting Daily Rental Sales to large Rental and Leasing companies.
Rental and Remarketing Activities

Assist National Rental & Remarketing Manager in the development and organization of Rental program activities, including the Rental Repurchase, Rental Purchase and Commercial programs

Support Rental program development, development and publication of Dealership communications, as well as creation and development of program agreements
-
Liaise with GM Stakeholders including Brand Teams, Distribution, Legal, Envolve Solutions Center, Envolve Financial and Dealerships as required to support programs
-
Liaise and interface with Rental customers as required

Lead the Remarketing and Auction process
-
Manage the supplier relationship and processes with General Motors Financial (GMF) and auction suppliers
-
Execute pricing and auction strategies
-
Work with Finance team to effectively manage cash flow and profitability
-
Maintain forecast of auction unit volume and sales timing
Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) and Used Vehicle Brand Building
-
Lead a GM Dealer and GM Corporate Remarketing Advisory Board
-
SME and lead for all things CPO, including:
-
Dealer standards and vehicle standards
-
Develop CPO and Used vehicle business plans
-
Production of digital and hardcopy assets (e.g. POP material)
-
Development and management of marketing and advertising plans
-
Support the field teams and Dealers
-
Manage relationship with marketing suppliers
-
Manage all CPO applications for Canada
-
Represent Canada and our requirements when system enhancements are created
-
Lead and identify enhancements to the CPO websites and CPO applications to maintain competitiveness and performance
-
Work with the Digital Team, agencies and our business partners in the US to prioritize and implement enhancements
-
Manage Data Integration Partner IT relationship / Provide 2nd line support

Create used vehicle inventory reports
Required Skills/Experience/Education
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.

Experience in sales and/or customer service, would be an asset.\
-
A prolific communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong computer software and analytics skills, especially Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel and the ability to take complex amounts of data and develop key insights and actions.

Ability to build strong relationships and manage expectations with Dealers and Rental customers, Regional teams, GM Envolve and Commercial team; leverage relationships to influence performance
-
Ability to work independently and balance conflicting priorities while maintaining effectiveness.

Strong time management skills to focus efforts effectively and efficiently on the most impactful activities.

Experience within automotive sales and specific knowledge of GM sales operations across Chevrolet, Buick, GMC & Cadillac brand would be an asset.
