Description
This is a full-time appointment from September 2021 - March 2022.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Have (but not limited to) a BC teaching Certificate in good standing; or letter of permission
Professional development certificates
Experience in tutoring high school students in a variety of subjects
Related Experience:
Tutoring all subjects to grade 11 to 12 students
Promote high expectations and academic achievement for all students in a safe and nurturing environment
To assist the students in achieving their current grade level
Ability to incorporate innovative ideas and creativity in the classroom
Differentiates curriculum expectations and teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students
Must have exceptional Computer Skills and knowledge of computer programs
Manage student behaviour in the classroom incorporating school-wide rules and discipline policy
Experience and knowledge with special needs students
Be a team player and work with all staff in a positive manner and provide support as needed
Exceptional inter-personal skills and particularly those related to parent/community involvement
Responsible for creating weekly snack menu, purchasing food/drinks weekly, cooking snacks daily
