We are looking for a Service Technician to join our Team at our Mississauga division!

As a Service Technician, your mission will be to diagnose, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on equipment in both shop and at the customer site. You will also operate equipment for testing and troubleshooting, weld and fabricate parts as necessary, and communicate effectively with customers regarding equipment issues.

More specifically, you will be responsible for :

  • Diagnose, repair and perform general preventative maintenance on equipment, in a shop or at the customer site;
  • Operate equipment for testing, diagnosing and troubleshooting purposes;
  • Weld and fabricate parts and equipment as required;
  • Handle customer’s calls for remote technical support;
  • Effectively communicates with customers about equipment issues and solutions;
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities;
  • Prepare detailed reports on equipment conditions and repair recommendations.

Requested skills

  • Experience in repair and maintenance on trucks, heavy equipment preferred;
  • 3-5 years of previous experience required;
  • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, as well as electrical and lighting systems;
  • Valid driver’s license, class-G an asset;
  • Mobile Handling Equipment certified preferred. A willingness to learn is a must for loading/unloading of trucks;
  • Significant software knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams);
  • Must be available for on call services and work irregular or at times long hours as required ;
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time;
  • Able to multitask in a face paced environment, to work independently and be self-motivated;
  • Able to communicate efficiently with customers, observe safety protocols and demonstrate professionalism;
  • Attention to detail and advance organization skills;
  • Positive attitude, open to learn, willing to be part of a growing environment.
