The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a permanent part-time Caretaker. Caretakers are valuable members of the team who provide for a clean, functional and attractive environment in all facilities owned and operated by the Division.
The duties of a Caretaker are to:
Provide general care, upkeep, and maintenance. Including but not limited to:
Provide general janitorial care of the school.
Sweep, mop, removal of garbage, sanitizing of surfaces.
General upkeep of the school and school grounds.
Other duties as assigned by the Principal or Caretaker Coordinator and those listed in Job Description - Facilities: Caretaker.
The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:
Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent
Take pride in maintaining a clean and operational facility.
Direct experience in the caretaking field and the ability to work independently and as a team member would be considered an asset.
Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $19.67 - $22.90 with vacation time accrued at the applicable rate.
Benefits include participation in the Saskatchewan School Board Association (SSBA) Employee Benefits Plan if eligible, the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan, if enrolment is chosen and opportunities to attend professional development seminars.
