Grand
Erie District School Board represents more than 28,000 students in 58
elementary schools and 14 secondary schools within the City of Brantford and
the counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, as well as students from Six
Nations of the Grand River First Nation and Mississaugas of the Credit First
Nation. With a dedicated staff of more
than 2,900, Grand Erie Is committed to learning, leading and Inspiring. The Education Centre Is located In Brantford.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate of
Qualification and qualified to teach in a minimum of two of the following divisions:
Primary, Junior or Intermediate, in accordance with Ministry of Education
Regulations.
*French-as-a-second language Part 1 minimum or
equivalent required.

1. All current qualified internal elementary contract
teachers. Current contract teachers may apply directly to the Principal of Walter
Gretzky, Peter Harris. Application

2. All current qualified Grand Erie elementary occasional
teachers and external qualified applicants to the Board. The only way that
applications will be accepted is through Apply to Education (ATE). The ATE
website (www.applytoeducation.com ) will facilitate the
submission of the required documentation.

Rate of Pay $56,108 - $117,096 Annually (based on 1.0 FTE) A competitive benefits plan is available through a provincial benefits trust plan

All applications are to include a complete resume of experience,
qualifications, a copy of your current Certificate of Qualification from the
Ontario College of Teachers, practice teaching reports or the most recent
performance review(s), and the names of three (3) professional references, (as
least one of whom must be a current supervisor/principal, if applicable).
