Koss Aerospace is growing again! We are looking for a CMM Technician/ CMM Programmer to join our team.

Job Title: CMM Programmer

Koss Aerospace is seeking a skilled CMM Technician/Programmer to join our Quality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining CMM programs, performing equipment calibration, and ensuring compliance with customer and internal specifications. Proficiency in Mitutoyo Mcosmos software is required. The candidate should also be flexible and willing to take on additional tasks as assigned to support the team's overall objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, modify, and optimize CMM programs using Mitutoyo Mcosmos software.
  • Perform dimensional inspections to ensure product compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to create accurate measurement programs.
  • Conduct calibration of measurement equipment, including CMM, and maintain calibration records.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CMM equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers and other departments to resolve non-conformances.
  • Document inspection results and generate detailed reports for internal and external review.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, including AS9100D or ISO 9001.

Education and Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum [4 years Min.] of experience as a CMM Programmer in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Proficiency in Mitutoyo Mcosmos software.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment calibration processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., AS9100D, ISO 9001).
  • Preferred:
  • Certification in CMM programming, metrology, or related quality assurance training.
  • Experience with other metrology tools and software is a plus.
