Purpose of the position

Reporting to the IT Director, the incumbent of this position will provide 1st level support to the group's users both at the software and hardware levels.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt and quality support to users who request the service;

  • Installation, update and maintenance of workstations and mobile devices;
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation of the environment;
  • Perform monitoring and maintenance of the systems under his/her responsibility;
  • Participate in the implementation of processes, procedures and policies;
  • Ensure impeccable customer service at all hierarchical levels;
  • Finding solutions to solve complex problems;
  • Maintain the inventory of the computer equipment;
  • Install, maintain and investigate the causes of failures, upgrade hardware and software of web servers;
  • Manage user access;
  • Provide support to the Level 2 technician;
  • Any other related tasks.

Education Requirements

RELEVANT DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

Technical skills

  • MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR POSITION
  • PROFICIENCY IN WINDOWS 10, WINDOWS 11, WINDOWS SERVER 2016 AND 2019 OPERATING SYSTEMS.
  • EXPERIENCE CONFIGURING DOMAIN CONTROLLERS, ACTIVE DIRECTORY
  • STRONG NETWORKING KNOWLEDGE (HUBS, ROUTERS, FIREWALLS, ETC.)
  • IP TELEPHONY EXPERIENCE
  • WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF BACKUP TECHNOLOGIES
  • ADVANCED ENGLISH WRITTEN AND ORAL COMMUNICATION
  • EXCELLENT COMPUTER SKILLS
