We are looking for a buyer to join one of Montreal leaders in ceramics!
Full time. Permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain product database integrity and support new product introductions;
- Track supplier price updates and manage product coding;
- Ensure healthy inventory turnover, address surpluses, and suggest product discontinuations;
- Collaborate on procurement strategy and issue purchase orders;
- Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and monitor product availability;
- Handle backorders, customer inquiries, and special requests;
- Coordinate import documents and assess profitability.
Profile:
- 3-5 years of experience, strong multitasking, negotiation, and analytical skills;
- Proficiency in Ms office;
- SAP, an asset;
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment.
