Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal, the incumbent will complete various duties with minimal supervision in an organized and efficient manner. The incumbent will act as a school representative and provide support to teachers, parents, students, and the school community. This individual will exercise solid organizational and public relations skills utilizing a multitude of media and resources.
Qualifications / Experience
? Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
? Excellent computer skills (ie. MS Word/Windows and other appropriate software packages).
? Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize with competing/changing demands; attention to detail.
? Ability to deal with confidential information.
? Good mathematical skills.
? A minimum of two (2) years successful administrative experience.
? Capacity to engage members of diverse communities and skilled in a variety of consultation techniques, protocols and strategies.
The position would be to support Schools and the Catholic Education Centre Administration Office by providing clerical support for the efficient daily operation of the applicable school or department. This position provides assistance to staff and the general public as required.
Successful applicants will be required to assist throughout the Halton Region.
This position is covered by the C.U.P.E Local 3166.00 Collective Agreement.
