Job Description

The Coordinator-Outpatient Rehab is required to provide ongoing administrative support to a growing number of staff/programs at all three Work-Fit locations.

This includes supporting staff across the Work-Fit Total Therapy team, WSIB Specialty, Hand Therapy, and other Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinics. This position supports the accuracy of scheduling and supports billing across the program including financial processes for MVA, WSIB, and MOH physiotherapy. Monthly reporting and yearly reconciliation are key deliverables.

They would support the Manager, Transitions and Integrated Care and the Director, Community Integration and Primary Health Care as required.

Qualifications
  • Office administration diploma from a recognized college or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recent, related experience providing comprehensive support in an office required
  • Experience working in an administrative capacity in a physiotherapy clinic preferred
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications including OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
  • Knowledgeable in motor vehicle accident, WSIB, Ministry of Health and insurance billing processes
  • Proficient in scheduling and billing software, ensuring efficient management of appointments and financial transactions
  • Experienced in financial management and tracking
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written combined with a customer-focused approach and ability to handle requests in a professional, diplomatic, confidential, and tactful manner
  • Knowledge of medical terminology , enabling effective communication within healthcare settings and accurate documentation
  • Excellent data collection and data management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking/analysis skills are required
  • Demonstrated ability to diplomatically respond to inquiries from staff, volunteers, patients, family members and members of the general public
  • Must be able to prioritize workload and function independently in a very busy environment

Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Friday, various rotating 7.5 hour shifts (hours are subject to change based on operational requirements)

Salary: $26.49 to $33.11 per hour
