Description
The Program Analyst role is responsible to provide maintenance of the Perioperative Information Systems. Position ensures quality of data by developing and implementing auditing and error entrapment tools and reports. In collaboration with Planning & Analysis, position will support the collection of data elements used in program dashboards and is accountable for the accuracy of data collected.
• 3 - 5 years; advanced knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures and functions
• 3 - 5 years; data analysis and presentation
• Advanced knowledge of relational database architecture
• Advanced knowledge of data repository principles
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Data QA principles and procedures
• Experience with various health related information systems
• Experience in Meditech an asset
• Knowledge of system integration and data transfer
• Provide support to Business Manager assisting with account reconciliations and collection of financial data as requested
• Provide analytical support - extracts & compiles data from multiple source systems, reviews, validates & resolves discrepancies, and assures the quality of information systems to facilitate evidence based decision making.
• Must have effective communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills within a professional environment
• Proven ability to work independently & collaboratively
• Proven ability to work within changing and tight timelines: ability to organize and establish priorities
• Knowledge of federal MIS guidelines, Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards, and Ontario Case Costing Initiatives
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Project management experience an asset

• Post Secondary degree or Diploma; Computer sciences/Information Technology preferred • 3 - 5 years; advanced knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures and functions
