Job Description: Maintains, operates and repairs boilers in a plant/energy centre.

• Power Engineering Technician certificate

Licenses

• 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate

Knowledge and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to work independently
• Intermediate knowledge of mechanical and electrical trades

Other Information

• Ability to enter into confined spaces
• Previous experience in operation of water tube boilers & water testing 
• Understanding of chiller operation & general steam plant preventative maintenance would be preferred
• Must be able to work all shifts, days, nights and weekends on short notice (2 hours or less)
• Will be required to change shift schedules with minimum required notice
