Job Description: Practitioner Staff Affairs (PSA) provides SHA wide support through a coordinated team based approach. The Associate will facilitate standard work processes and offer expertise and leadership in an often complex structure that reflects a potential mix of clinical, academic and physician leadership services. The Associate contributes to the alignment and the effectiveness of organizational and cultural change initiatives as they relate to the PSA department. This position works closely with department colleagues, SHA service lines, physician executives/heads/leads, College of Medicine, government agencies, the Saskatchewan Medical Association (SMA) and College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • 1 year of progressively responsible administration experience
  • Experience in health care
  • Experience in contract management and/or working with Physicians is an asset

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
  • Business Administration diploma (DBA)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Human Resources is acceptable
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Human Resources diploma is acceptable
