Job Description: Reporting to the Manager or designate for the area of the province they are working, the Emergency Medical Services - EMT/PCP responds to emergency and non-emergency events, and provides assessment, treatment, and transportation of the ill or injured persons consistent with The Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (SCoP) Clinical Practice Protocols; The Paramedics Act and bylaws; and Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) policies, procedures, and work standards.

Education
- Primary Care Paramedic Certificate from an approved educational institute
Licenses
- Valid Class 4 driver's license

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)

Knowledge and Abilities
- Physically able to perform the duties of pre-hospital emergency care
- Familiar with the SK Ministry of Health Ambulance Information System.
- Heavy lifting and often extreme physical exertion will be required
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and pleasant manner.
- Demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving, conflict resolution skills
- Ability to function effectively in periods of high stress/emergent situations
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

- Knowledge of EMS Practitioners legislation/protocols/scope of practice

- Kerrobert is located approximately 147 km south of North Battleford
- No guaranteed hours. Must be Available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable
