Job Description: The EMT will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT will cover standby assignment, as operations require.

Education

  • Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 4 driver's license
  • Registered Paramedic (2011 National Occupational Competency Profile standards)

Other Education and Training

  • International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
  • Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C)
  • Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
