Job Summary:

The Employment Services Coordinator is responsible to carry out generalist Human Resource functions using a team approach. The incumbent assists managers and supervisors with recruitment, retention and internal staffing processes including but not limited to posting, advertising, processing new hires, transfers, resignations and orientation. These functions must be consistent with collective agreements and the mission statement, philosophy, goals and objectives of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Experience:

Two (2) or more years of Human Resources experience including administering collective agreements. Proven ability to lead change initiatives. Demonstrated excellent attention to detail.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
  • Post-Secondary education. Preference may be given to an undergraduate and graduate prepared candidate
  • Human Resources training considered an asset

Knowledge Skills and Abilities: 

  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective teams and maintain relations based on trust, accountability, and open communications
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent management, leadership, organizational and decision making skills
