Job Description:

Performs a variety of analytical procedures, analysis and laboratory duties for the detection, diagnosis, prevention and management of disease and illness.

Education

• Baccalaureate of Science Degree with a major in defined science and required courses (Major dependent on specific specialty area, e.g. Chemistry required in Chemistry, 
  Microbiology in Microbiology, etc.).

• Required courses: BSC 4 year degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry; Intro Chemistry (similar to UofR Chemistry 104 or 105); Organic Chemistry (similar to UofR Chemistry 241); Analytical Chemistry I, II (similar to UofR Chemistry 210, 310/215); Separation Chemistry (Similar to UofR Chemistry 312); Biochemistry (6 Cr. Hrs.); Statistics (3 Cr. Hrs.)
