Job Description: Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology.  Specialty disciplines are: Mammography, Angiography (IR), Computerized Tomography

Education

• Medical Radiologic Technology diploma (MRT)

Licenses

• Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
• Registered College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan
• Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists

Other Education and Training

• Computerized Tomography training/certificate, as required
• Angiography training/certificate, as required
• Drug administration and intravenous injection training, where required
• Mammography training/certificate, as required

Other Information

• This is a multi-site MRT specialty position with home base at the Regina General Hospital and is multi-site to Regina Breast Screening.
• CAMRT Mammo courses 1 and 2 are required, but may be completed on the job for a suitable applicant.
