Job Description: The staff Mental Health Therapist is part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for the development and maintenance of the Therapy Program for in and out patients.

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

• Bachelor of Chemical Dependency is acceptable
• Bachelor of Social Work is acceptable
• Bachelor of Psychology is acceptable
• Bachelor of Education is acceptable
• Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable

Knowledge and Abilities

• Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients

Other Information

• Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
• Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
