Job Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority through provision of safe quality nursing care to clients. The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Manager of a designated area.

Experience
- Requires a minimum 3 years recent Critical Care experience
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-knowledge of, and ability to identify and differentiate normal and abnormal coronary artery anatomy and heart function under fluoroscopy
-advanced knowledge of right and left heart hemodynamics
- ability to accurately map the patient specific coronary anatomy to create the CARAT Report (Coronary Artery Reporting and Analysis Tool); including specifics such as characteristics of lesions, stenosis, indications of stent or graft locations from the angiogram images
-ability to assist the Interventional Cardiologist by delivering guides, wires, balloons, stents, closure devices, aortic or mitral valves, etc. under sterile technique
- ability to provide assessment, monitoring and intervention for cardiac procedures such as coronary angiogram, angioplasty, including but not limited to coronary stents, chronic total occlusion intervention (rotational or orbital atherectomy, or shockwave lithotripsy, physiological and microvascular testing (including measurements for FFR, iFR, RFR, co-reg and use of IVUS, OCT), right and left heart catheterization, structural heart (LAA, ASD, PFO closures, balloon valvuloplasty) and TAVI procedures
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab is preferred
