Job Description: Under the direction of the Primary Health Care Manager, the Positive Living Program (PLP) Clinician & Clinical Educator leads and implements program orientation, education, evaluation and research for the PLP program. This nurse will divide their time to also provide direct client service including HIV and HCV clinical case management in support of client treatment plans; coordination of the clinical and outreach components of the PLP, client education, etc. Other more specific responsibilities includes researching, collaborating and developing policies and procedures, maintaining program data bases, performing quality improvement, mentoring staff and serving as a consultant to individuals and groups of health professionals within the region.

Experience
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- 5 years direct nursing experience with HIV
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
- Basic Life Support Level C Certificate (BLS-C)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
