Job Description: Sterilizes instruments and equipment. Cleans and sets up Operating/Procedure Rooms. Porters/positions patients, equipment and transports specimens.

  • Six (6) months experience in health care

Education

  • Medical Device Reprocessing Technician - Certificate of Achievement

  • Organizational skills
  • Basic - Computer skills
  • Communication skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of medical supplies and surgical instruments/equipment
  • Specific to f/RQHR:  Heavy lifting required
