Job Summary

Under the direction of the Manager of Pharmacy Practice (Regina) as well as the Clinical Coordinator, Pharmacy Services the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the provision of 
quality patient/client-focused pharmacist care within the Regina service area.  The incumbent is responsible for the medication-related needs of all patient/clients (including Home 
Care) within the Health Region, the provision of drug information to physicians, other health care professionals and the patient/client, and will serve as a preceptor to other 
pharmacists, pharmacy residents and students. During the provision of pharmacy services the incumbent is able to perform in a capacity consistent with NAPRA and CSHP 
standards as well as Pharmacy Patient Care Standards.

Education

  • Entry-level Degree (Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or entry-level PharmD)
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a practicing Pharmacist in Saskatchewan
  • Certificate of completion of an Accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency or suitable experience an asset.

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

  • Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)

  • Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.  HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
