Job Description: This psychologist will work under the direction of the coordinator of the young offender program. The primary purpose of this position is to provide assessment, treatment, and consultation services to young offenders who engage in aggressive/violent behaviours. To accomplish this, the psychologist will seek to develop innovative responses to the young offender's needs and issues. The psychologist will work in conjunction with other young offender staff and agencies to develop evident based interagency services for identified youth and their families. Additional responsibilities may include participation in program development and evaluation, student supervision, and working in collaboration with staff on the young offender program other departments within Saskatoon Health Region.

Experience
- Experience in preparing reports for court, testifying in court and dealing with the justice system.
- Experience in providing feedback and consultation to professionals and paraprofessionals on assessments and interventions.
Education
- PhD in Clinical Psychology
Licenses
- Registered Psychologist (RPsych)
