Status:  Temporary Part Time                    Qualifications:  Grade 12

Description:  Responsible to the Administrator and working directly with Recreation Staff, the Recreation Worker:

1. Delivers, monitors, and records in resident/client records on recreational activities, events, and programs
2. Facilitates activities; encourages and assists with resident interaction
3. Encourages/assists with meal and hydration
4. Assist with resident/client mobility programs
5. Contacts and involves family members and community group in activities and events
6. Cooperates with other departments and follows therapy guidelines, established standards, regulations and facility policies.
