GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

As a member of the Care Services Division management team, the Site Manager, Lodge Services is responsible for the day to day facilities management function of the lodge, including the acquisition of capital assets, materials and supplies for the lodge and the preventative maintenance program for the building and grounds. They are accountable for the direction, supervision and coordination of the Cancer Patient Lodge operations within the scope of the goals, objectives and mission of the Supportive Care department of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency. 

The Site Manager, Lodge Services maintains a home-like and supportive environment for guests by providing a harmonious and caring atmosphere sensitive to their needs. This position is responsible for creating a culture of patient and family centered care within the lodge.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Administration/Commerce or,
  • An equivalent combination of applicable education, training and experience (for example: facilities management, patient care experience)
  • Five years supervisory experience in a unionized health care environment
