Job Description: The Project Coordinator provides support and management for electronic medical records (EMR) implementations and ongoing use within the Saskatchewan Health Authority. This position is responsible for providing leadership in respect to program implementation and ensuring the EMR supports regional clinical and financial business processes for which it was designed. This position is responsible for the effective operation of the EMR, including quality assurance, auditing, application security and data integrity in relation to privacy and adherence of users to identified policy and procedures. The Project Coordinator works with outside vendors, eHealth, and the CHR Information Systems and departments in the installation of new EMR sites and changes or upgrades to existing systems.

Experience

  • Two years' experience in the healthcare sector preferred

Education

  • Degree in Business Administration
  • or Degree in Computer Sciences
  • or Degree in Health Information Management

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
