Elementary Generalist
2024-25 School Year
Good Shepherd School is recruiting for 0.5 FTE Elementary Generalist Teacher position starting October 15th, 2024. The position is available for the entire 2024-25 school year.
The ideal candidate will be an elementary generalist. The assignment will include teaching all subject areas in the Elementary Program of Studies and potentially other assignments in the K-6 environment aligned with the candidate's skill set.
The successful candidate ideally will have knowledge and experience with literacy, numeracy, Indigenous students, and the social and emotional development and mental health of children. The successful candidate requires proficiency in the use of educational technology, an understanding of assessment for learning and is eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.
The candidate must be willing to work in a rural Catholic community environment, be a team player and be willing to collaborate, communicate, and work with others.
Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
