Brief description:
Under the authority of the General Manager, the incumbent is responsible for supervising the operations of the maintenance department (building maintenance and suites) and ensuring that our customers receive an impeccable product in accordance with the standards of the chain for our two establishments; the Marriott Residence Inn and the Hilton Homewood Suites, located in Mont-Tremblant.
More specifically:
- Will be responsible for the smooth running of the department by planning his/her work and that of his/her team according to priorities and emergencies (inspections, major work, renovations, etc.).
- Lead the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Respond to both technical and practical emergencies for internal and external customers.
- Implement and ensure adherence to work schedules with respect to preventive maintenance programs.
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date emergency procedures.
- Provide appropriate training and supervision to maintenance personnel.
- Will be responsible for purchasing, inventory, budget tracking and invoicing for the department.
- May be called upon to perform the duties of the department technicians as required.
Requirements:
- College or university degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a field related to building maintenance OR an equivalent combination of technical training and building maintenance experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and provide outstanding customer service.
- Excellent ability to establish and maintain good business relationships with other departments, owners and stakeholders of Mont Tremblant Resort.
- Strong personnel management skills.
- Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, electricity.
- Experience in renovations and maintenance.
- Available to travel at all times in case of emergency.
