D.A. Ferguson/W.R. Myers are seeking a Grade 6-8 Generalist for our Horizon Christian Program and W. R. Myers High School Social 10-2 and English 10-2 teacher. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with young people and will be committed to making meaningful connections with students both in the classroom and through extra-curricular opportunities.
The Horizon Christian program is a part of W. R. Myers and D. A. Ferguson School which are all located in the same complex. We are seeking applications for candidates that have a proven strength or passion for working with EAL students. Applicants should be comfortable delivering curriculum in a manner that takes into consideration the cultural and religious contexts of the students in our setting. The biggest strength will be the ability to be kind, patient and able to build real connections with the youth in our school.
