Hours of work (Monday - Thursday 8:25 a.m. - 3:20 p.m. & Friday 8:25 a.m. - 12:05 p.m.)
W.R. Myers High School is a grade 9-12 school. Our staff of 43 provide educational services to 450 students from both in and around the Taber area.
W.R. Myers High School is currently seeking a dedicated educational assistant who fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment. The role will encompass guiding students in self-regulation strategies, working closely with teachers to address behavioural issues, and collaborating to keep students focused on their work.

As part of the W.R. Myers High School team, support staff will be required to:
Assist the students with the completion of coursework and assignments.
Help each student participate and succeed.
Work with teachers to keep students on task and focused on their work.
Work with teachers and the LST to implement individualized strategies from ISPs and Behaviour Plans.
Deal with behavioural issues.
Help students use their self-regulation strategies.
Take part in professional development.
Build relationships with co-workers, student’s families, and community service providers
