Regular Early Learning Educational Assistant- Approximately 14 hours/week
- Monday-Thursday 8:15am-11:45a.m plus 3 Friday mornings. This position will commence on November 12, 2024.
Taber Central School is seeking a Regular Educational Assistant to support students in our Early Learning program commencing immediately. This school supports a diverse community of learners in the heart of Taber with a student population of about 225 students.
Central School runs two early learning programs: a Monday/Wednesday morning program and a Tuesday/Thursday morning program. Children aged 2.8 through 4.11 attend Early Learning. Experience working with young children and education/training specific this age group will be considered an asset; such as Early Childhood Education levels 1-3 certification. Other areas of training or experience would include working with speech and language delays, English as additional language learners, children with complex needs and play-based learning. An understanding of inclusion and supports for diverse learners would be seen as a strength.
