Description
We are looking for a banquet associate.
Our banquet associate will work closely with the food and beverage team and the conference/banquet sales team to assist in setting up, dismantling, and maintaining meeting and banquet rooms. At the Humaniti Hotel Montreal, we are seeking individuals who have a deep understanding of human interactions and will deliver an experience in line with our wellness concept to our customers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Set up and dismantle meeting rooms according to provided plans.
- Perform basic room setup.
- Clean meeting rooms and banquet equipment.
- Ensure the installation of certain equipment.
- Handle the transport of boxes and materials.
- Perform all necessary support tasks for the department.
- Serve as a role model for high-quality customer service and contribute to maintaining this standard.
- Be self-reliant and comfortable with problem-solving.
Skills and Requirements
- Excellent organizational skills, prioritization, and outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stress.
- Proactivity, initiative, and autonomy.
- (1) year of experience in a similar position.
- Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting heavy objects.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Availability during the day, evening, and weekends.
