Description

We are looking for a receptionist to join our Spa team. Reporting to the Spa Director, the incumbent will be responsible for greeting, checking in and assisting guests in an efficient and courteous manner in all functions, while projecting high standards of professional service and hospitality at all times.

Our esthetician’s mission is to offer impeccable service to our guests, reflecting our DNA: evolved, captivating, and connected. At the Humaniti Hotel Montreal, we are looking for people who prioritize the human touch and will deliver an experience in line with our wellness concept to our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls using the right message.
  • Maintain a clear and friendly tone of voice.
  • Be knowledgeable at all times about available spa services and treatments and actively promote the most cost-effective ones.
  • Make every effort to meet guest requirements; if necessary, offer alternatives according to standard procedures.
  • Review all treatments for the following day and call guests on the contact number in the reservation system to confirm details as required.
  • Greet guests on arrival and confirm treatment, schedule, costs and payment, as well as all booking notes at check-in.
  • Escort guest to checkroom or introduce guest to a colleague who can escort them on a tour of the facility or to the checkroom.
  • Be alert to upselling opportunities.
  • Charge, correct or adjust guest account charges as necessary.
  • Know and apply all hotel billing and transaction procedures.
  • Provide a level of personalized service that exceeds guest expectations, while demonstrating proactivity and attentiveness.
  • Act with professionalism and courtesy towards guests at all times and practice discretion and confidentiality in all guest-related interactions and information.
  • Adopt an approach to guest concerns while following the recovery plan.

Skills and Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and guest interaction skills.
  • Front desk experience in a high-end environment preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings, holidays and weekends).
  • Proactivity, reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
