What to Expect:

The Planner is responsible for achieving Omni-Channel sales, profit, and inventory productivity objectives for merchandise categories in partnership with the Merchant office. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will drive business results through the in-season and pre-season planning processes and development of strategic initiatives. You will be a part of a collaborative team environment and build rewarding partnerships with colleagues and senior management.

What you will do:

  • Lead with a customer-oriented perspective in partnership with the Merchant office to drive store and digital business

  • Be responsible for the development of topside financial plans, pre-season, and in-season management for stores and digital

  • Partner with the Merchant office to provide recommendations for style count and unity density

  • Manage Open-to-Buy to align sales, margin, and inventory to current trends and seasonal plans

  • Partner with the Merchant office to establish a concise and executable merchandise plan mix pre-season and in-season

  • Develop and re-forecast the replenishment budget, in addition to overseeing and providing guidance on the replenishment program parameters

  • Monitor receipts in the period to ensure we are on track with the monthly forecast

  • Manage the exit of inventory including providing recommendations and overseeing the execution of markdowns in partnership with the merchant office

  • Manage the hiring, training, and development of direct reports

What you will bring to the team:

  • 3-5 years of experience in buying and/or planning

  • Management experience will be considered an asset

  • Strong understanding of allocation strategies

  • Demonstrated understanding of merchandising financials and ability to manage profitability

  • Proven planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail

  • Sharp negotiation and problem-solving skills

  • Quantitative and analytical skills with extensive experience and proficiency with Excel

  • Ability to initiate driving business results and confidence in making effective decisions

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment and leveraging cross-functional partnerships

  • A leader who enjoys team development, mentoring others, and fostering opportunities for growth
