We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Analyst to join our Clinical Innovation & Transformation (CI&T) team. The Project Analyst will play a supportive role in planning, implementing and evaluating projects within the portfolio and across Humber River Health. This will include gathering, synthesizing, and translating requirements, conducting analysis, and facilitating consensus. The individual will be working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and thrives in high-performing and fast-paced environments.

 

Reporting Relationship: Director, Innovation Excellence

Employee Group:  Non Union

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document functional requirements from client stakeholders; facilitate process reviews; conduct gap analysis
  • Develop and design solutions and research, and present options to clients
  • Develop value propositions and benefits to evaluate client solutions
  • Assist Project Managers in all phases of project management (including development and monitoring of plans and business casing)
  • Where required, assist in the execution of project deliverables

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in IT, Healthcare, Business Analysis or Project Management required
  • At least 2 years experience in Business/Project Analyst and/or 3-4 years as a Project Coordinator
  • Undergraduate degree in IT, Healthcare or Business, preferred
  • Business Analysis certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, listening and facilitating)
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and/or deliverables concurrently
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.) required
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework preferred
  • Project management body of knowledge (PMBOK), Lean planning methodology, Technology assessment, preferred
