POSITION: PROJECT SUPPORT - SCHEDULING
Primarily Stratford site
Temporary Full-time
(Shifts: 8-hour day shifts), may be subject to change
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Senior Project Manager, HIS Renewal, the Project Support position will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of the UKG Workforce Management solution. This position will work closely with the Project Team on all phases of the implantation but their main focus will be the scheduling module within the electronic solution.
REPORTS TO: Senior Project Manager, HIS Renewal
DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible
SALARY: $30.98 to $34.42 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Completion of High School Diploma required
- Completion of community college business or administrative assistant course, or equivalent experience, required
- Training in project management approaches/methodologies an asset
Experience:
- 1-3 years of recent experience, in a hospital setting, working with clinical and non-clinical work schedules is required.
- Previous participation in healthcare-related projects is an asset.
- 1-3 years of previous experience in process improvement/optimization initiatives is an asset.
- 1-3 years of previous experience with computerized scheduling software is an asset.
Abilities:
- Advanced decision-making and engagement capabilities.
- Adept at presentations, public speaking, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Virtual meeting facilitation skills and capacity to work within Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent working knowledge of Collective Agreements, preferably HPHA ONA, OPSEU and CUPE contracts.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Strong prioritization, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, collaborators, and external partners.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
