Furniture Builder/ Racking Specialist

Who you are

•You are enthusiastic about work and working with others in a team
•You can prioritize, are disciplined, show initiative and have a flexible attitude
•You are a pro at building IKEA furniture. In fact, you know you’re on their speed dial because you’re the first call your friends or family make once they leave an IKEA store with stuff!
•You have about 6-months of customer service or distribution center experience in a high-volume environment
•You are totally cool working in a physically demanding, fast-paced, work environment

What you'll be doing day to day

•Prioritize building requests, organize stock requests, complete transfers and communicate timelines to other internal teams
•Build requested products and ensure the new item is completely functional and in working condition, and if not, then to report all issues
•Conduct regular audits of all floor models to ensure 'In Shape as New' and initiate action plans if any item needs attention
•Perform weekly maintenance checks on displays for quality, appearance, function, and safety
•Help with other projects or duties as they come up
