ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Vancouver-based Labour and Employment law firm client is looking for a motivated, client-focused associate with at least 2+ years of experience in employment law. In this role, you will manage a caseload of primarily plaintiff-side employment matters from start to finish. Responsibilities will include conducting discoveries, mediations, and trials, with opportunities to assist senior lawyers on more complex or larger cases. The ideal candidate will have experience as a plaintiff attorney, with exposure to contingency cases being a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent employees in various employment law matters
- Handle a wide range of employment litigation cases, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and disputes related to employment contracts and severance pay
We are seeking a self-motivated, results-driven lawyer who is eager to take on responsibility and contribute to the continued success and growth of the firm.
REQUIREMENT:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to BC Bar
- 2 to 7 years of experience in L&E practice area (focus on Employment - plaintiff side)
- BC license - they are open to candidates who live in AB but they must be called to the BC bar
Compensation:
Base and bonus: depends on year of call ranging from $115,000 - $175,000
