Compliance Manager

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Impact Recruitment has partnered with an established investment firm that has been in the business for the past 10 years. They’re currently looking to add an experienced compliance professional to their team. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of relevant experience.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Reporting to the chief compliance officer, the compliance manager will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Ensure the company remains in compliance with all the legal and compliance framework of applicable canadian regulatory bodies.
• Maintain compliance programs, standards, initiatives and execution on various programs as well as provide strategies, coach and recommendations for improvement.
• Work on periodic internal audits and related reviews.
• Assist in the development and execution of risk assessments to identify risk areas.
• Use data analytics to identify any potential risks.
• Review new client account openings, ongoing transactions and KYC changes.
• Prepare regulatory filing and reporting.
• Ad hoc duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of compliance or audit experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
• CPA or CIA designation is an asset.
• In-depth knowledge of effective compliance frameworks, standards and best practices

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Salary expectations: $100,000 to $120,000
• Extended health and dental
• 3 weeks vacation
