Job Summary:
The Product Manager will be responsible for developing new products specialized in ice detection on wind turbines. This key role involves a deep understanding of customer needs, effective coordination with internal teams (sales, engineering, and production), and overall supervision of the product creation process, from design to market launch. The Product Architect will also serve as the technical and strategic reference for all matters related to this product.

Main Responsibilities:

Customer Needs Analysis:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to gather and analyze specific customer needs.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand their expectations and anticipate market trends.

Team Coordination:

  • Act as the main intermediary between sales, design, and production teams.
  • Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for product development, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.

Product Development Supervision:

  • Oversee the design, testing, and optimization of the product.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, performance, and safety standards specific to the wind energy industry.
  • Stay updated on technological and regulatory trends to ensure the product remains competitive and compliant.

Product Reference:

  • Serve as the technical and strategic expert for all questions related to the product.
  • Support sales and marketing teams in preparing technical documentation and client presentations.
  • Participate in internal training sessions to ensure a consistent understanding of the product within the organization.

Requested skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or a related field) or relevant experience in product development.
  • Proven experience in product management, preferably in the renewable energy or industrial systems sector.
  • Demonstrated skills in project management and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of wind energy industry standards and regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with the "stage-gate process" or a similar product development process.
  • Understanding of value creation processes.
  • Involvement in the development of the new product
