Your Role:
As an Adult Day Service Worker at Coquihalla Gillis House, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the well-being of our clients within a client-centered care model. Under the guidance of the Adult Day Centre Program Supervisor, you will assist a group of clients with their daily activities, ensuring they are engaged and active. Your responsibilities will include implementing and participating in life skills, recreational, and social activities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. You’ll also adapt and modify activities as needed, set up and organize equipment for various programs and events, accompany clients, and oversee their participation, all while maintaining open communication with your supervisor regarding any changes or concerns.

What We Offer:
This casual position offers flexibility, with potential day shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00, depending on the needs of the facility. Qualfications
• Grade 12
• Completion of an Activity Assistant Program, and one year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Food Safe certificate.
