Position Summary
We have a permanent part-time (0.6fte) Clinical Dietitian opening in Vernon, B.C. This position works Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 08:00-16:00, and works as part of a interdisciplinary health care team supporting clients in their homes. Restricted Activity A and C is considered an asset, or a willingness to work towards this with employer support. A current BC driver's license, along with access to a reliable personal vehicle suitable for business purposes is a requirement of this position.

About the position:
As a member of the Home Health team, the Dietitian works both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate nutrition care plans for clients in their homes or ambulatory care settings, with a focus on oral and/or enteral nutrition to prevent or treat malnutrition. Home Health programs support individuals with acute, chronic, palliative, or rehabilitative care needs, including frail elderly individuals, younger clients with disabilities, and adults with chronic illnesses, all of whom require coordinated care to maintain or promote their independence.

Qualfications
Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
Full registration as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
One year of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment preferred.
Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle suitable for business purposes
