Position Summary
We are seeking a Permanent Part Time Clinical Dietitian at Penticton Regional Hospital in Penticton, BC. **Wage rate effective April 1, 2024 will be $40.75 to $50.87**
Days of work: Monday to Thursday, Days
Shift times: 08:00 to 16:00, 08:00 to 16:30

What will you work on?
This position is a combination of acute care and long-term care.
Utilizing clinical techniques and knowledge, the Dietitian provides nutrition services through: nutrition
assessment; care planning and charting; intervention, goal setting and monitoring; counseling and
education programs; consults and communicates with the multidisciplinary care teams; acts as a resource
to other health professionals and communities within Interior Health.
The Dietitian provides input to the Professional Practice Leader or designate by participating in the development of nutrition practice guidelines and procedures; research and continuous quality improvement initiatives for the facility and program.
The Dietitian liaises and advises food service staff on patient/client/resident care issues and menu
development.

Qualfications
• Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
• Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
• Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC) [formerly College of Dietitian of British Columbia (CDBC)].
• One year of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment preferred.
• Valid BC Driver’s License
• Reserved Activity A is required and B preferred.
