Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join the Williams Lake Primary Care team. In this role you'll play a key role in helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals through tailored exercise and mobility interventions. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team and under the clinical supervision of a regulated healthcare professional, you will develop and implement personalized care plans that focus on improving mobility, fitness, and overall quality of life. Responsibilities are creating customized exercise plans, supervising and supporting sessions, collaborating with the care team, and empowering clients. Days of work are Mondays to Fridays; 08:00 to 16:00 hours.

About Williams Lake Primary Care | This primary care hub, located at the Yorston Medical Building, is designed to offer a range of primary care services to residents of Williams Lake and the surrounding areas, with the goal of improving health outcomes by providing coordinated and comprehensive care. Key features and services include multidisciplinary care team, accessible entry point into the healthcare system, patient-centred care, health services integration, mental health and wellness and support for Indigenous communities.

Qualfications
Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or Exercise Sciences from a recognized program.

Certification as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with either the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) or the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
