Position Summary
We are seeking a Community Clinical Pharmacist to join our amazing Pharmacy Team at the Seniors Health and Wellness Centre located in the Kelowna Community Health Services Centre. This position is a permanent part time (0.50FTE) position working rotating day shifts.

Applicable positions may qualify for up to $15,000 as a recruitment incentive.

What will you work on?
As the Community Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide clinical pharmacy services to clients in a community care setting. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, this position will assess and recommend individualized treatments. The responsibilities including acting as the primary resource for drug information, education and providing expert advice to health care professionals. The duties include monitoring drug prescribing, drug distribution and drug therapy to ensure safe, effective, rational, legal and economic use of drugs. This role maintains workload records and statistics.

Qualfications
• Current registration as a pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Certification of completion of an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency program (ACPR1); OR
A combination of at least one year of full time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and recognized advanced education courses;
OR
A combination of at least 3 years of full time equivalent (FTE) recent relevant clinical pharmacy experience and an equivalent combination of training, knowledge and experience.
• Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
