Position Summary
Penticton Health Centre has an immediate permanent, part-time (0.82 FTE) Community Rehabilitation Assistant opening in their team. This position works Tuesday to Friday from 08:30-16:30 and has weekends, Mondays and Stat holidays off. The position is assigned to Penticton and Summerland, with occasional work in Keremeos, therefore a valid BC drivers Licence and vehicle is a requirement of the position.

About the position:

Community Rehabilitation Assistants play a pivotal role within our interdisciplinary team, implementing our established Home Health and Community Care Rehabilitation Programs. Operating within a client-centered framework, you'll be responsible supporting adults with a variety of physical disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living, and implementing group and individual programs in clients’ homes and in community sites. Your duties are intended to allow clients to maximize their functional ability, remain at home and engage in meaningful activity.

Qualfications
Graduate of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program, plus one year’s recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current valid BC Driver’s License.
